This is in my local paper, for a 4x4, CREW cab, and the 3 liter DIESEL. All up under 33k. My tight opinions say this price !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! but overall in the grand scheme, its a steal now.

I’ve read anti-positive things about three ecodiesel though

That’s a 2017 model. The all-new 2019 are coming/here now. Probably one of the Rams they had to hold during the certification issue of that diesel?
Either way, it’s an almost 2 year old model of the previous version, that price makes sense even with Dodge/RAM’s traditionally highest incentive reputation of the big 3 trucks.
$51,000 original MSRP with Cloth Seats!

So, when I was shopping the first car I looked at was a brand new, loaded, 2018, manual Challenger 392 T/A. Sticker was 51k. They offered it to me for 38k.
Paid-off R&D and tooling allows for incredible aggression on the price.

Yep, half of that discount is just depreciation, easily. They plan for that. And I wish manufacturers were forced to disclose how many of these trucks actually sold at nearly $52k...ever.
My guess: none.

Not directly related, but yesterday I saw a late model regular cab long bed Ram with a bed topper on it. It did not have any kind of business signage on it. I was shocked.

“New 2017 model”
LOL... Mr Bullshitting dealer... we are in 2018 now. Since it’s a 2017 model that has been sitting for a year, it ain’t new anymore.

Ah, yes, “premium”, I missed that. Probably unicorn fur at those prices :)
Though interesting note that in the past, fabric was considered premium over the leather when it came to car and horse carriages.

it’s a dodge so a horse carriage platform is probably newer than any dodges.
